Kingston Barnes March 2018 Celebrations – The start of April has marked the end of a fantastic first quarter for Kingston Barnes in 2018.

Starting the year on the slopes in Chamonix has given the team the extra motivation to put our all into everything we do this year so we can be back on the slopes in January 2019. A team incentive in place is the perfect way to bring the team together and ensure we are all working towards the same goal. Not only does this improve staff morale and engender team spirit, but it also encourages fantastic results.

Personalised champagne and gifts were given out in abundance this month to celebrate 1, 2 and 3-year work anniversaries! We believe by celebrating we show each employee the significance of their presence in the company and that another year of their time definitely deserves a celebration!

Congratulations to Ruby Pomphrey celebrating 3 years, Chris Johnston celebrating 2 years and to Chris Hallum and Peter Cawthorne both celebrating their 1st year anniversaries with us.

A second shout out to Ruby Pomphrey who is also celebrating her promotion to Trainee Consultant. Ruby has been with Kingston Barnes for 3 years, starting with us as an Apprentice. She has worked her way up through the ranks from Researcher to Resourcer within Construction, making a name for herself on the Trades and Labour desk. She then made the decision to move over to our Engineering team and has since progressed to Senior Resourcer and now Trainee Consultant – a fantastic achievement.

Head of Engineering Justin Reynolds said “I am delighted to be able to promote Ruby, she really deserves it. Having made the brave decision to change desks from ‘’Trades and Labour’’ to ‘’Engineering and Manufacturing’’ last year, she has picked the different disciplines up within the sector really quickly and has become an important part of the team. I feel that Ruby has an enormous amount of potential and am excited to see how she transfers her natural relationship building ability to creating long lasting relationships with clients. She should be very proud of herself.”

Engineering is also welcoming Frank Parker and Becca Elliott who are joining us as Resourcers. This is an extremely exciting time for Engineering and this is going to be their best year yet!

James Kingston has commented “As part of our 2020 vision we are keen to continue the growth of our teams and in particular the engineering division. In only 15 months we have seen such a great performance and expansion from Justin and his team of now 6 with no signs of slowing down!

We have a great client base that really appreciates the personable approach and delivery of the right candidates that Kingston Barnes offers, and due to the sheer demand, we want to ensure we can continue delivery to our key clients. To support the delivery team, we welcome both Frank and Becca who are resourcing the top talent within engineering and have already made a great impression.

We are really looking forward to seeing their career flourish and being a part of the KB family.”

As a welcome to our newest team members, and a big well done to the rest of the Kingston Barnes team we will be dining out in style before taking to the waters of Bristol on the beautiful boat Bagheera to celebrate our achievements.
