THE COMPANY

A market leading residential developer with an established office in Bristol. They are currently delivering some of the most high-profile developments in the South West Region with a secured development pipeline for the next 10 years. They work on a wide range of developments from traditional housing to large mixed use schemes.

At present, they are seeking a talented Site Manager to join their team on a permanent basis with a focus on managing internals packages. Initially you would be working on a 300 unit development in North Bristol delivering a mixture of open market and affordable housing split between traditional build houses and 2 steel frame apartment blocks. You will be responsible for managing all units from 1st fix to handover with the support of an Assistant Site Manager.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The ideal candidate will be working for a quality focused House Builder or perhaps within a main contracting environment, with experience delivering a wide range of residential schemes ideally including delivering high spec housing developments.

This role will suit an experienced Site Manager looking for a new opportunity or a strong Assistant Site Manager looking to take the next step in their career. You could either come from a trades background or alternatively be degree educated, given the nature you will need a keen eye for detail and demonstrable experience managing internals packages. As previously mentioned you will initially be working on a site in North Bristol, however moving forwards their workload is generally within 45 minutes of Bristol.

In return, our client is offering a highly competitive salary from £52,000 – £56,000 plus an extensive and flexible benefits package which includes; car allowance, bonus scheme, private medical insurance, contributory pension scheme etc.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant bachelor’s degree/HND/HNC in Construction Management (or similar) or a trade background
  • Hold current valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid at Work
  • Hold chartered status with the CIOB (desirable)
  • Experience delivering high spec housing developments
