THE COMPANY
A leading Multi-Disciplinary Construction and Property Consultancy based in Bristol, they provide Project Management, Cost Consultancy, Building Surveying and Principal Designer services to clients throughout the Wessex & Wales region. Working with an enviable client list, their projects range from delivering small refurbishment schemes through to some of the most high profile new build schemes in the UK. They cover a broad range of sectors including healthcare, education, commercial, residential and defence. You would be joining a growing Project Management team with genuine scope for progression to Associate level and beyond.
They are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Project Manager to take the lead on a large technically complex healthcare scheme, this is predominantly a new build scheme however there are other smaller refurbishment schemes attached to this.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The ideal candidate will be working as a Senior Project Manager delivering Construction schemes in a Consultancy environment and have previous experience delivering healthcare schemes of at least £15 million in value. Beyond the initial project, there is a very strong pipeline of further healthcare works however given the variety of clients that they work with you will also have the opportunity to work on schemes in other sectors should you wish.
This role will suit a strong Senior Project Manager who is looking to join a forward thinking business where they can grow a team and continue to progress their career, alternatively you could be an experienced Project Manager who is looking to take the next step in the career. You will join an incredibly supportive team and have the opportunity to quickly progress your career.
In return, our client is offering a highly competitive salary from £50,000 – £60,000 plus an extensive and flexible benefits package which includes; car allowance, private medical insurance, contributory pension scheme, bonus etc.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or Civil Engineering
- Hold chartered status with a relevant institution (ICE, CIOB, APM, RICS etc.)
- 3-5 years experience leading construction projects within a consultancy or client organisation
- Previous experience delivering healthcare schemes
