THE COMPANY
A market leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy with an established office in Bristol. They operate from ten offices in the UK alone, employing over 500 experienced and enthusiastic consultants. They provide Building Surveying, Cost Consultancy and Project Management services to a diverse portfolio of high-profile public and private sector clients; working on projects in Commercial, Retail, Education, Healthcare and Residential sectors.
At present, they are seeking a talented Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. Initially you would be delivering schools projects in the South West however moving forwards their diverse workload would allow you to focus on the sectors/projects that you enjoy the most, with huge scope to progress within the business to level of Associate and beyond.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The ideal candidate will be working within a Construction Consultancy with demonstrable experience delivering construction projects within the education sector either for local authorities, academy trusts or through the ESFA framework.
This role will suit an up and coming Project Manager looking for a new opportunity with real prospects for career progression, alternatively you could be an Assistant Project Manager looking to take the step up to Project Manager level. You will be predominantly based from their central Bristol office with some travel throughout the South West region when required.
In return, our client is offering a highly competitive salary from £35,000 – £45,000 plus an extensive and flexible benefits package which includes; private medical insurance, contributory pension scheme, car allowance and bonuses.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
·Relevant bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or a related field
·Hold or be working towards chartered status with a relevant institution i.e. RICS, CIOB, APM
·Strong public sector construction experience including the successful delivery of schools projects.
