The Company
A leading independent construction consultancy with an established regional office in Central Bristol. They are focused on providing Project Management services to a diverse portfolio of high-profile public and private sector clients; working on projects in Commercial, Education, Healthcare and Residential sectors. Typically projects range from £500,000 to in excess of £50 million in value and are a mixture of fit outs, refurbishments and new builds.
Due to a rapidly increasing workload they are seeking to appoint a talented Project Manager to join their South West team. Due to the variety of schemes they are currently delivering they are happy to consider individuals with a wide range of construction experience, however moving forwards you would have the opportunity to shape your workload around your own interests. There is huge scope to quickly progress within the business to the level of Associate and beyond.
The Opportunity
The ideal candidate will be working within a Construction Consultancy with demonstrable experience delivering construction projects, with previous experience delivering residential or healthcare projects being highly desirable. Alternatively you could be a Building Surveyor interested in a full time move to Project Management or be working for a Contractor and looking to move in to a client side role.
This role will suit a driven Project Manager looking for a new opportunity with real prospects for career progression in a supportive and welcoming team environment. They offer a hybrid working model with split between time in their office, client’s offices and working from home, in addition to this there will be some travel throughout the Wessex and Wales region.
In return, our client is offering a highly competitive salary from £38,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience) plus an extensive and flexible benefits package.
Key Requirements
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or a related field
- Hold chartered status with a relevant institution i.e. RICS, CIOB, APM
- Ideally experience delivering residential and healthcare schemes of at least £10 million in value.
