Are you a SHE Management Systems Controller?
One of our market leading clients is currently looking to add an experienced individual to our SHE Team at our factory in Pencoed, South Wales.
The SHE Management Systems Controller will be responsible for ensuring that we remain compliant with all Health and Safety and Environmental legislation, and crucially that all ISO standards are maintained.
This opportunity is offering full-time, permanent employment and you will be required to work Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm and Friday 8am to 3pm.
Job Purpose & Scope:
•Ensure SHE documentation is kept up to date and is reviewed regularly
•Make improvements by facilitating the closure of corrective and preventive actions
•Maintain certification to ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001
•Ensure conformance to group documents
Key Responsibilities & Job Content:
•Plan the annual SHE internal audit schedule against the requirements of oISO 14001 (Environmental Management System Standard) oISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System Standard) oISO 50001 (Energy Management System Standard)
•Carry out internal audits covering all business aspects (SHE, Quality, Processes etc.)
•Carry out SHE legal compliance checks
•Support the Health & Safety Manager and Environmental Manager with external audits
•Provide training.
•Proactively work with all departments to facilitate improvements in SHE performance
The Candidate:
•Experienced in managing ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001
•Previous auditing experience
•Strong understanding of H&S and Environmental and Energy legislation
•NEBOSH or IEMA qualification is desirable
•Previous experience of manufacturing
•Implemented improvements to HSE processes
•Strong IT capabilities
