THE COMPANY

An independent multi-disciplinary consultancy providing Quantity Surveying, Project Management and Clerk of Works services to clients predominantly within the residential sector. They are well established in the region with an enviable reputation. Based from their Central Bristol office they cover the Somerset, Bristol, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire region.

At present, they are seeking a talented Clerk of Works to join their team on a permanent basis due to the continued growth of the business.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The ideal candidate will be working in a similar role either within a consultancy environment or would be working for a developer or housing association. Alternatively they are welcoming applications from Construction Site Managers who would be interested in moving in to a consultancy role.

This role will suit an experienced Clerk of Works or Site Manager with a keen eye for detail who can demonstrate experience within the residential sector. You will be based from their central Bristol office with travel to sites in the South West which are typically within 45 minutes to 1 hour of Bristol.

In return, our client is offering a competitive salary from £35,000 – £45,000 plus an extensive and flexible benefits package which includes; private medical insurance, contributory pension scheme etc.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Ideally hold chartered status with the ICWCI
  • Demonstrable experience working on Residential schemes, with experience of affordable housing schemes being highly desirable
  • A relevant degree, HND or HNC (i.e. Construction Management, Building Studies, Building Surveying) or come from a trade background
