Senior Quantity Surveyor job in Gloucester – My client, a newly established privately owned bespoke developer, pride themselves in delivering the highest of quality new homes throughout the South West. With a wealth of experience in land acquisition and construction management they are able to deliver new homes a cut above the competition. Their in house Designers, Surveyors and Construction Team work tirelessly to ensure they are providing the quality you come to expect in today’s modern standard of living.
They strive to deliver something a little different with their unique new homes which is why their in house team work closely with interior designers and high end furniture manufacturers when looking to furnish properties. They understand everyone is individual and wish to personalise their new home so they offer the properties on plan allowing future home owners to personalise before or during the construction phase.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a wealth of residential experience to join their experienced team as a major part of the company, working on developments up to £7m in value in the South West. You will be the head of the commercial department and must have experience of being a stand alone commercial lead. You will also be required to carry out quantity surveying duties as part of your role:
- Tender enquiries
- Authorise subcontract orders.
- Input into the preparation of Bills of Quantities for non-standard designs
- Subcontract payments.
- Prepare and evaluate site works budgets.
- Final account preparation
- Prepare site progress accumulative figures
