Then reach out! Kingston Barnes is now recruiting an exciting position for a Production Operator for one of our clients working within the North End area.
The Company: A leading supplier across multiple industries, the company operates across several sites across the south west. They use the most modern and efficient machinery, of its kind, across the UK. With international connections this company is in a great position to expand their team.
The Role: The role will consist of efficient and effective production whilst meeting targets and quality standards. This will involve checking, operating and maintaining complicated machinery. This role will require someone who is willing to learn, is organised and able to meet deadlines. The production department incorporates the following processes: -Rolling, Knurling, Assembly Machines and Conveyor Systems, the candidate will be trained to understand these machines and their processes but a prior understanding is essential.
The Candidate: The candidate must be physically able and fit as the job will involve elements of labour. This candidate must have good attention to detail and ability to multi-task to ensure the quality of the product is maintained throughout the manufacturing process. They must have their Maths and English in addition to good communication skills, as they will be required to work in a team efficiently and effectively.
- £9.23 + shift allowance = £9.70 per hour to candidate
- If attendance is 100% for the month, no sickness, their rate increases by 50p per hour to £10.20 (attendance bonus paid monthly)
- 24 days plus 8 bank holidays
- 5 hour week – rotating 6 a.m. – 2 p.m., 2 p.m. – 10 p.m. shift, 30 minute unpaid break
- Opportunity for hourly rate to increase to £11 an hour depending on how good they are (can take 6 months, can take more than a year.)
