OPERATIONS MANAGER JOB IN BRISTOL – Kingston Barnes are currently recruiting an experienced Operations Manager for an exclusive client of ours based in Bristol.
They are a top regional contractor with a strong presence throughout the South-West. They have an excellent track record of delivering quality building projects in a vast array of sectors including Care Homes, Education, Healthcare, Commercial, Housing, Leisure, Retail and Industrial from £1m-£20m. They predominantly work throughout the South-West but typically within 1 hour of Bristol. They work on a variety of frameworks and also on negotiated and competitively tendered basis. Their name is synonymous with quality, seamless delivery, building relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction and collaboration is at the heart of the business, this is why they have such a high rate of repeat business.
In order to be considered for this opportunity it is essential that you have a minimum of 5-10 years experience in a similar position with a key competitor in the South West. You will be fully responsible for the performance of your projects, ensuring they meet or exceeds the business KPI’s whilst at all times providing predictable outcomes. You will create and form high delivering teams by leading, managing and supporting both directly reported operations team members ensuring the highest possible standards are maintained at all times.
As a member of the Senior Management team you will be expected to provide timely and accurate reports to the Directors of the business against your objectives including commercial performance and Health and Safety measures. You will proactively plan, manage and monitor projects, spotting and resolving problems as they occur. As part of the Top Team you will work closely with Senior Management to develop long term strategic plans and objectives for the business. You will be responsible for leading & managing work winning, tendering/development or negotiated projects.
An important part of the role is supporting and developing your teams, focusing on them being the best they can be.
