Then reach out! Kingston Barnes is now recruiting an exciting position for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for one of our clients working within the Bristol area.
The Company: A leading manufacturer in the automotive industry. Building a great reputation through the quality of their products and growing across the UK, this company is looking to expand their team.
The Role: You will be responsible to carry out routine reactive and planned maintenance across the site. This role requires a self-motivated and dedicated individual as the role carries autonomy through your own work and improvement. You also will be expected to be on call 1 in 4 weeks.
The Candidate: The candidate ideally should have experience working within a manufacturing environment and must have practical experience with Hydraulics and Pneumatics. The candidate also should have experience as a Maintenance Engineer or Fitter, ideally some electrical knowledge and a background in repairing process equipment, conveyors, plant machinery or similar. This candidate must be willing to learn and have a good attitude towards work.
- Mechanical / Multi Skilled Apprenticeship (Ideally but not limited by)
- Demonstrable experience with Hydraulics and Pneumatic
- Basic electrical fault finding
- Ability to work alone or in a team
Shifts and Hours:
- Day Shift Mon – Fri
- 39 hours a week
- 7 Am Start (Flex finish inside 39 hours)
- 20 Days holidays
