THE COMPANY

A market leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy with an established office in Bristol. They operate from ten offices in the UK alone, employing over 500 experienced and enthusiastic consultants. They provide Building Surveying, Cost Consultancy and Project Management services to a diverse portfolio of high-profile public and private sector clients; working on projects in Commercial, Retail, Education, Healthcare and Residential sectors.

At present, they are seeking an Associate Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis due to the continued growth of the business. You can expect to be leading larger, more complex projects with a team of junior staff to support you, alongside this there is an expectation that you will help to support the senior leadership team in business development activities.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The ideal candidate will be working within a Construction Consultancy delivering their own projects but perhaps looking to move into an environment where you can quickly progress your career. Ideally you will have experience working on a mixture of private and public sectors schemes, with a strong understanding of public sector procurement processes.

This role will suit either an established Associate level Project Manager who is looking for a fresh challenge, or alternatively a strong Senior Project Manager who is looking to take the step up to Associate level. You will primarily be based from either their Bristol office or working from home, with some travel to projects throughout the South West and South Wales.

In return, our client is offering a highly competitive salary from £58,000 – £70,000 plus an extensive and flexible benefits package which includes car allowance, private medical insurance and a contributory pension scheme among other benefits.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or a related field
  • Hold chartered status with RICS, CIOB, APM or similar
