Architectural Assistant job in Gloucester. Our client is an established and well-regarded Architectural practice with over 100 staff spread across two offices. They have a broad portfolio of work including Residential, Commercial, Education, Healthcare and Leisure. They have a requirement for an experienced Assistant Architect (RIBA Part 2) to join their Commercial team based in Gloucester. You’ll join an experienced team of Architects, Technologists and Architectural Assistants working on a range of projects including offices, retail, and industrial.
The Architectural Assistant will be involved in the coordination of designs with other members of the team and will take responsibility for the preparation of designs, visualisations, schedules and reports. You’ll assist Senior Architects in running large projects and will have the opportunity to manage smaller schemes independently.
Skills and experience required:
- You be an Architectural Assistant with a minimum of 2-3 years post Part 2 experience.
- You’ll be a talented designer capable of producing attractive sketch schemes, combined with excellent AutoCAD skills. Previous experience of Revit would be beneficial.
- You’ll have sound knowledge of UK building regulations and experience in the producing and submitting of planning applications.
