THE COMPANY

An independent multi-disciplinary consultancy providing Quantity Surveying, Project Management and Clerk of Works services to clients predominantly within the residential sector. They are well established in the region with an enviable reputation. Based from their Central Bristol office they cover the Somerset, Bristol, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire region.

At present, they are seeking a talented Clerk of Works to join their team on a permanent basis due to the continued growth of the business.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The ideal candidate will be working in a similar role either within a consultancy environment or would be working for a developer or housing association. Alternatively they are welcoming applications from Construction Site Managers who would be interested in moving in to a consultancy role.

This role will suit an experienced Clerk of Works or Site Manager with a keen eye for detail who can demonstrate experience within the residential sector. You will be based from their central Bristol office with travel to sites in the South West which are typically within 45 minutes to 1 hour of Bristol.

In return, our client is offering a competitive salary from £35,000 – £45,000 plus an extensive and flexible benefits package which includes; private medical insurance, contributory pension scheme etc.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Ideally hold chartered status with the ICWCI
  • Demonstrable experience working on Residential schemes, with experience of affordable housing schemes being highly desirable
  • A relevant degree, HND or HNC (i.e. Construction Management, Building Studies, Building Surveying) or come from a trade background

The Company

We have been appointed to recruit an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their London office to work on interesting projects from Residential, Science & Technology, Education, Sports & Leisure and Retail varying in value from £500,000 – £200,000,000.

The Opportunity

The ideal candidate would be a proactive and enthusiastic individual who can confidently work across a broad range of projects and values career progression.

Ideally, the candidate will be comfortable working from home 3 days per week and in the office 2 days per week.

In return, our client is offering a competitive salary of £60,000 – £65,000 and are willing to offer higher to the right candidate. As well as this, they are offering a car allowance, pension contribution, private medical insurance, life insurance, child care vouchers and 27 days holiday per year plus bank holidays.

Key Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar technical discipline
  • MRICS or membership of other relevant professional body
  • Experience delivering schemes in excess of £10 million in value

The Opportunity

The ideal candidate would be a proactive individual who can take responsibility for providing all core Quantity Surveying services on a number of interesting projects, for a number of clients across a variety of sectors.

This role will suit a candidate that is already chartered or within 12 months of being chartered.

In return, our client is offering a salary of £25,000 – £38,000 plus package.

 

Key Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar technical discipline
  • Working towards membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
  • At least 2 years post-graduate experience working within a consultancy environment
