May News – Kick starting the bank holiday weekend with a bang!…

Kingston Barnes organised a special day out with some of our valued clients, a spot of clay pigeon shooting and afternoon tea, it was a fabulous setting to enjoy some socialising and shooting!

Last Friday 3rd May Kingston Barnes had a fantastic opportunity to go shooting at Ladys Wood Shooting School near Chipping Sodbury. Five teams ventured out for a ‘competitive & friendly’ afternoon, we were joined by several of our clients from Halsall Construction, Beard Bristol, John Perkins, Redrow Homes, Brandwells, Ashford Homes, Ridge, Sharpak, Off Site Solutions, IESIS and Capstan Contractors. After five rounds of shooting various different clays the individual winner was Ian Williams from John Perkins, a fantastic achievement considering he was up against some very experienced shooters!

Luckily the weather held out for the finale ‘Tower Shoot’, only 3 people managed to hit the sky-high clay which put them through to the final. After a gripping sudden death round the winner of the individual round was Scott Tacchi from Ridge & Partners. After the shooting we indulged in afternoon tea and had the prize giving ceremony! Team 3 were the overall winners who received a bottle of their choice, congratulations to Keith Doel, Ian Williams, Rob Yeandle, James Hurford, Tom Hurford & our very own Kate Hallett!

M.D James Kingston said “We love building relationships with our clients in and out of work. And what better way than to try new things and experience them together. We had a great day learning how to shoot at the beautiful Ladyswood.  With over 30 in attendance it was a really enjoyable and surprisingly competitive event! Congrats to Ian and Scott who took away the top prizes. Looking forward to next year!”
