Role requirements
Job Purpose Statement / Nature of work
In this role you will be required to refurbish and batch build a variety of tooling mechanisms. You will be required to learn and work with various aspects of the development, design of manufactured tooling. You will also be responsible for working to high quality standards to ensure tooling designs are fit for purpose and that function and reliability standards are maintained during the manufacture of a variety of punch tool systems.
Main Duties: Job Specific Task
·Carrying out batch build of assembled punch tooling
·Building prototype tooling to detailed drawings.
·Refurbishing and upgrading existing punch tooling.
·Assisting with tooling designs for prototypes and developing existing builds.
·Working with CAD technicians to design and develop tooling systems.
·Testing and improving punch tool designs.
·Monitoring tooling assembly issues and raising any quality concerns.
·Studying work orders, drawings and making controlled alterations to assist with tooling development.
·Working to set procedures and tolerances.
·To train others as required by the business.
·To keep accurate records of tooling builds, refurbishments, and issues.

Salary/shift pattern
·11.27 per hour + 0.50 attendance allowance = £11.77
·Paid at a 40hr week = £24,481.
·Working hours are 8am -4pm
