Senior Quantity Surveyor: £50,000-£70,000 annual salary + Hybrid Working + 25 days Holiday + Christmas Bonus

Due to exciting growth, one of our Surrey, London and Bath based clients are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and driven Quantity Surveyor to join their friendly and exciting team.
The company is a consultancy of Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers. Established in 1967, their wide range of experience covers new builds, extensions and alterations, refurbishments, and conservation work. Private and public sector clients with project values ranging up to £50m across a wide variety of sectors including education, residential, commercial, retail, leisure, and conservation projects.
They are lucky to have some amazing clients across a wide portfolio of projects, from luxurious new homes for private individuals through to exciting high-profile projects for prestigious blue-chip clients… and everything in between.

Duties include:
- Taking a supporting or lead role delivering a project’s QS duties from inception to completion, subject to experience.
- Preparation of initial and subsequent cost planning models
- Preparation and implementation of procurement strategies
- Preparation of tender documents
- Preparation of contract documents
- Cost management during the construction phase comprising valuations, agreement of variations and preparation of cost reports
- Agreement of final account
- Regular client and design team contact
- Opportunity to progress into project management roles
We are looking for:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- A construction-related Degree or similar
- Strong measurement, numeracy, and financial management skills
- Strong organisational skills together with the ability to work flexibly
- Professional attitude with excellent communication skills
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Collaborative style of working
