Our client is a global independent multi-disciplinary consultancy with a fantastic reputation in the region with huge growth plans for the coming years ahead. They operate from several offices across the UK, with 1000+ employees. Due to the continued growth of the business, they are seeking a Chartered Quantity Surveyor for the Southwest area based out of their Bristol office.
Our client has a diverse portfolio of high-profile public and private sector clients; working on projects in Commercial, Retail, Education, Healthcare and Residential sectors from £1m to £500m project values.
This exciting position will be an integral part of the Cost Consultancy team, accountable for the commercial and contractual performance of a project. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to take full client ownership and work on projects across a range of sectors. Value of projects can range typically from £1 – £100 million. The projects will be across a range of sectors so would suit someone who doesn’t want to be pigeonholed on one type of project.
This role will suit either an up-and-coming Quantity Surveyor with 3-5 years post APC experience or an Assistant Quantity Surveyor wanting the next step. You will be predominantly based from their central Bristol office with some travel throughout the South West region when required.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of working with teams and assist with managing projects, a good team player, outgoing, flexible and enthusiastic. The role is to join the team in Bristol office where they offer flexible/hybrid working pattern.
The ideal candidate will be working within a Construction Consultancy supporting project delivery of live projects but perhaps looking to move into an environment where you can quickly progress your career. Ideally you will have experience working on a mixture of private and public sectors schemes, with a strong understanding of public sector procurement processes.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar technical discipline
- Strong technical delivery experience
- Able to build long—term relationships
In return, our client is offering a competitive salary £25,000 – £55,000 depending on experience, 28 days holiday + bank holidays (option to purchase up to 5 extra days per year) Company pension scheme, Life Assurance, plus many more benefits.
