THE COMPANY
A medium sized multi-disciplinary consultancy with an established office in Central London. They operate from several regional offices across the England, employing over 200 technical staff. They provide Cost Consultancy, Employers Agent, Project Management, Building Surveying & Principal Designer services to a wide range of public and private sector clients across diverse sectors including residential, commercial, healthcare, leisure, retail, education and infrastructure.
At present, due to to continued growth of the business, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Project Manager / Employers Agent to join their team on a permanent basis. You will predominantly take the lead on residential, mixed use, commercial office and industrial schemes acting as Project Manager / Employer’s Agent, however moving forwards if you wish to diversify your workload you will get the opportunity to do so.

THE OPPORTUNITY
The ideal candidate will be working as either a Project Manager or specialist Employer’s Agent for a Construction Consultancy delivering their own projects but perhaps looking to move into an environment where you can quickly progress your career. Alternatively you could be a Building Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor with demonstrable experience acting as Employer’s Agent or Contract Administrator who is looking to move in to a full time Project Management role.
This role is open to people with from a wide range of experience however you will have at a minimum 3 years Project Management experience and either hold or be working towards gaining Chartered status (ideally with RICS). You should also have demonstrable experience delivering Residential or Commercial office schemes in excess of £20 million in value.
In return, our client is offering a highly competitive salary from £45,000 – £75,000 DOE plus an extensive and flexible benefits package which includes car allowance, private medical insurance and a contributory pension scheme among other benefits.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or similar
- Hold Chartered status with a recognised professional institution (RICS, CIOB, APM etc.)
- Ability to deliver own schemes with minimal supervision
- Ideally experience acting as Employer’s Agent/Contract Administrator
