£46k (including shift allowance, depending on experience/skill – grading structure) + excellent overtime + excellent pension scheme

Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes has an exciting opportunity for a Multi-skilled maintenance for one of our manufacturing clients. The Engineer is required to undertake multi-skilled maintenance on traditional engineering equipment, both reactive and planned.

They are a market leader within industrial manufacturing and are looking forward to another successful year within this marketplace. The business has shown consistent growth and is constantly developing new systems to maintain their competitive advantage in existing markets.

The Role: Within the remit of the role you will be undertaking electro-mechanical maintenance on a range of machinery on site. The role is split between planned and reactive maintenance within the facility, and all engineers will be actively involved in helping set up PPM’s weekly and installation work on a project basis. You will get to work on all equipment within the factory.

The will revolve around front-line electrical/mechanical maintenance as well as working in the workshop and so experience working in a pressurised maintenance role is required. You will also take on planned maintenance activities. Experience working on Continuous Improvement projects would be useful as they are looking to champion this on site.

Requirements:

– Electrical and mechanical maintenance background – pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, conveyors etc, 3 phase, invertors, drives, PLC’s

– Electrical or Mechanical bias but multi-skilled ability 

– Understanding of CI projects

– Excellent fault finding skills

– Use of a SAP system or similar

– Experience working in manufacturing or similar

– Apprenticeship and technical qualifications
