Kingston Barnes are currently working with a well known multi-disciplinary consultancy who are looking to expand their building surveying team due to new clients and exciting work requiring a new talented surveyor to join their ranks. This building surveying team are known for their excellent teamwork, training and APC support.
The Role:
You will be supporting senior staff with ongoing projects while taking on your own individual workload. You will be carrying out building surveying services across a diverse range of clients and properties including commercial, education and more. Your typical duties will include: contract administration Condition Surveys, project delivery, dilapidations, defect analysis, specification writing. This role offers you a diverse range of works to ensure you upskill your talents as a building surveyor.
In this role you will work with Principal Designers and so will have knowledge of their role along with Auto CAD and design, project cost control and NEC contracts.
What’s Required:
- Minimum 3 years post degree experience and working towards RICS or recently chartered.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Strong writing and numeracy skills
- Previous consultancy experience (preferred)
- Hold a full driving license
