The Company:
A leading logistics company with an established reputation in the building merchant’s industry, are offering a great opportunity for an administrative candidate to join them on a permanent basis.
The office is very busy and full of various different types of personnel from Directors, to drivers, to shop floor workers and fellow office/admin staff.
The Opportunity:
Situated from their depot in Avonmouth, Bristol (BS11) the company are looking for an extra member to join their busy office.
They are looking for someone to carry out the everyday office, admin duties such as:
· Answer incoming phone calls and direct accordingly
· Input sales orders
· Ensure POD’s are signed and scanned onto system
· Filing of all paperwork
· Wages – Selected personnel only
· Invoice queries from both head office and customers – distributed throughout the team
· Credits
· Month end system clear up
· Process customer returns if needed in relation to credits
· Chasing any outside haulage POD’s
· Update GUI
· Creating paperwork for floor orders
· Creating and inputting information from journey manifests
· Marry up POD’s and approve sales orders once margin is checked as being correct
The company are looking for someone who is outgoing, happy to speak to all different types of people in various situations and ideally this person would be looking for a long-term career with progression.
No experience in this type of role is not needed, they are happy to train and mould the right candidate ensuring the above qualities are in place and you have some experience in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Key Requirements:
· Experience in Microsoft Word & Excel
· Strong communication and teamwork skills
· The knowledge and initiative to solve basic problems and make routine decisions
· Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
PAY:
Experience and salary requirements depending the salary will range between £22,000 – £25,000 per year
