Health & Safety Advisor job in Bristol – An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor, to join one of my clients, a high end residential developer based from their South West regional office in Bristol.

No two development sites are the same and they work closely with local stakeholders and planning authorities to ensure their developments suit local needs. They have been building new homes for over 50 years and are firmly established as a leading developer with a passion for not just building homes, but creating vibrant sustainable communities..

As a Health & Safety Advisor you will be working closely with the Site Management team on new build construction sites and developments with an average of 15 sites at one time. Your regional patch will include Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire. Reporting to the Group HSE Executive, you will lead the implementation and maintenance of the Company’s Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management System, leading their recently launched ‘Be Safe’ campaign and standards consistently.

In order to be successful in this position you will be a flexible team player with excellent communication skills and a strong commercial awareness. You will engage in and promote proactive, sensible and cost effective ways of continually improving health, safety and environmental performance.

Essential qualifications include Chartered Membership of IOSH and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience within the Construction sector. An excellent understanding of industry standards and good practice is essential.
